As an arts venue in Singapore committed to developing and promoting our local artists and not-for-profit arts groups, The Arts House offers one of the best preferential rates and schemes in Singapore to support these artists, entitling them to "rates that are less than 50% of those compared to private hire rates" (MCCY News Release, 14 Nov 2012).
There are various schemes to support artists like yourselves in various programmes relating to the literary arts, book launches, productions and exhibitions. THE ARTS HOUSE VISUAL ARTS SCHEME
The Arts House offers a visual arts scheme that supports emerging Singapore visual artists, as well as exhibitions that raise awareness of different social or charitable causes. Artists and curators are welcome to submit their proposals to us, which will go through a selection process.
Selected artists will be given free space to show their works at the Print Gallery up to a maximum of three weeks. The Arts House will offer installation and marketing support.
The exhibitions we have supported include Beyond The Border, Behind The Men (right), I Am Special - The World of Autism and Goodeyedeer Presents Mall Invasion.
Interested artists may submit their proposals to programmes@toph.com.sg.
