A reporter hears stories of a videotape that kills everyone who sees it exactly one week after viewing. She is sceptical at first but begins to investigate after her niece dies. Strange things start happening after she views the tape with her son and it becomes a race against time to find out why the tape is killing everyone and how it can be stopped.
Based on 1991 horror novel Ring by Koji Suzuki.
